Understanding the family system you grew up in can provide valuable context in which to understand what your body, mind, heart, and spirit are communicating to you. The result is to make meaning of your experience- essential to creating a framework of safety. With safety you’ll learn to locate sensations in your body, feel (rather than think you are feeling), regulate your body and emotions, access memory, connect to your heart, and strengthen your sense of self. About Zaria

A therapist who knows this journey from the inside out.

I understand what it’s like to feel burdened and confused by your family’s narrative of you, to question if you’re really the problem, and to long for connection with yourself and others while fearing it at the same time.

My own healing journey—therapy, trauma processing, and EMDR—showed me it’s possible to end the identity confusion, connect to the truth, and to build and strengthen my own sense of self.

As a therapist, I bring personal understanding and psychological knowledge and skill to help you create your own version of healing and reclamation of your self. I’m here to help you understand who you really are, including your talents and challenges, beyond what you’ve been told.
