My approach

How we’ll work together

I use an integrative approach that includes trauma-informed therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Internal Family Systems (Parts work). But more than the techniques, what matters is the therapeutic relationship.

Here's what you can expect

If you're dealing with the aftermath of family trauma, sexual abuse, or narcissistic relationships and you're ready to do the work of healing, I can help.

  • I'll listen deeply to your experience and reflect it back—helping you feel seen and understood

  • We'll put your struggles in context so you can stop blaming yourself and understand the system that shaped you

  • We'll work with both your body, emotions, and your logical mind, honoring that healing requires not only feeling and sensing, but also logical understanding

  • Healing from trauma and narcissistic family systems creates a structural blueprint inside of you that I understand well, including how to work with it to create positive, lasting change

  • We’ll focus on regulating your nervous system. When you’ve lived in survival mode for so long, you may not know what it’s like to feel calm or to be in your window of tolerance.

About my practice

I'm based in Danville, CA and work with clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Sessions are available both in-person and via telehealth (throughout California).

  • Individual therapy sessions range from the traditional 50 minute session to 75 minutes (or longer), depending on your needs, preferences, and what serves your healing best

  • Frequency is weekly, although we can discuss frequency based on your needs and what serves your healing best

  • I offer a free 15-20 minute phone consultation so we can discuss your situation, what you’re looking for from therapy, and see if we’re a good fit. You can book that here.

Who I work best with
My clients are adults who are ready to do deep work, motivated to understand themselves, and willing to face difficult truths. They're often successful on the outside but struggling on the inside, dealing with family wounds, relationship patterns, or a disconnect between who they present to the world and who they feel themselves to be.

Who may be better served elsewhere
I refer out clients with active addictions or eating disorders, as these require specialized treatment strategies. I also refer couples therapy cases to colleagues who specialize in that work. If you're not quite ready to prioritize therapy or prefer a more cognitive-behavioral approach, we may not be the best fit.
